You can also call or use WhatsApp: +31640635961.
All meetings are at my home address in Amsterdam Centre. Easy to reach by foot, bike, car and metro.
Consults can be scheduled anywhere between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm.
To create a horoscope, I need the following information:
Your first and last name
Your date of birth
Your time of birth
Your place of birth
I'd also like to know your education, profession and relationship situation, so I have a good understanding of your professional and personal background. This obviously isn't required, but having a better view of the context of your life helps me understand the astrological symbols in a more grounded way.
Topics of Discussion
You can indicate in advance if there are any topics you'd like to learn more about, but that's not necessary. I can improvise well during an astrology consultation and respond directly to questions, so you can also indicate what's important to you during our conversation.
Furthermore, many people are simply curious about their horoscope, and I can tell you a lot about that without much background information. But with a little more context, the conversation becomes much more personal and therefore more interesting.
Clear Language
An astrology conversation is clear, understandable, and conducted in everyday English. (Or Dutch, my native language). I will assume you know little about astrology itself, so I won't use technical jargon. We aim to delve deeper into your own experiences, making it easy to follow and allowing you to check whether it aligns with your own experience. What I do is probably best characterized as psychological astrology.
Natal and Current Horoscope
When you come visit me, I'll have created a birth chart that shows your rising sign (Ascendant), positions of the Sun and Moon, and everything else concerning the signs, houses, and planets. This provides a lot of information about your personality.
I also create a second chart (the progressed chart) that provides a deep understanding of the themes that are most important to you right now.
I don't make predictions about the future, because there's always (at least some) choice. We could however, look into the challenges and themes that lie ahead and how to deal with them. I do not offer simple advice on complex issues. We don't burn incense or mysteriously look into a crystal ball. Just a good and deep conversation about everything that matters to you.
Recording the conversation
Because I provide a lot of information, it's recommended that you make a recording of the conversation. You can do this with your own smartphone (search for voice recorder). I will also be making a recording myself, as a backup and to listen to again if you would ever come back.
If desired, the conversation can also be transcribed and summarized using ChatGPT, but that costs a bit more. (€150 instead of €120). Some people prefer to listen to the recording, others like to read back.
Duration of the conversation
A one-on-one conversation generally lasts about an hour and a half, but it can also be a little shorter or a little longer. This doesn't affect the price. Experience shows that the ability to listen intently begins to decline after about 90 minutes. This may vary.
If you come as a couple, the conversation will last more like two hours. If you come one after another, each session will usually last about an hour and a half.
Prices
A consultation about your horoscope costs €120.
For two people, the price is €200.
For a written summary, the price is €150.
You can pay cash, using PayPal or via a Tikkie (The Dutch system using your phone to make the money transfer). You can receive a receipt for the costs incurred.

About me

My interest in astrology began in my early twenties. I found a book with a description of the zodiac signs and planets, and with the help of some charts, you could relatively easily create a more or less reliable horoscope. I did this a few times with people close to me, checking what was said about someone with the Moon in Pisces, or Mars in Capricorn, etc. It turned out to be so accurate that I wanted to learn more.
Over the years, I started collecting books on astrology, creating birth charts for anyone who showed interest. Due to my inexperience, I sometimes said the most absurd things, but I noticed that I was gradually gaining a better grasp of the subject.
Because I had been creating and saving horoscopes for people I knew well for years, and also saw what was happening in their lives, a more reliable understanding gradually began to develop. At the same time, I read many books on psychology, psychotherapy, and all sorts of self-help books.
During that period I worked in the field of in child and adolescent psychiatry, which gave me an increasingly clear understanding of development from child to adult, and the difficulties that are involved in creating the skills to which are needed to live a good and fulfilling life. After that I worked with parents who were struggling with substance abuse, violence and housing, all the while trying to raise their young children.
All those years taught me a lot about the Dark Side of the Moon – that’s why I won’t recommend easy fixes for deep-seated problems. It often takes time, effort and self-compassion to arrive at a place of acceptance and growth.
Still later, I chose to work part time – giving me enough opportunities to spend time with my own kids, going into in meditation as often as possible, and pursuing my deep interest in spiritual development. My main focus was Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, and non-duality. My experiences in those fields can be found back on the site https://www.vrolijkverlicht.nl
Over the years, I first created dozens, then hundreds, and finally thousands of horoscopes. I often did so for free, which naturally made it less of a hurdle to have it done—but I was learning more and more, so I was happy too. It wasn't until later that I started charging for it—but then I also felt I could do so, given my growing experience.
At some point, I also became an astrology teacher—which I did for several years. It turned out that you learn a great deal from teaching, and the feedback you receive, so that was a very valuable experience.
After about twenty-five years of talking, reading, and writing about astrology almost daily, there came a long break.
After some ten years, interest returned, and now we're here. I have a lot of experience with creating horoscopes, had many conversations, and I'm still curious, learning, knowing that insight can always be expanded. Because a horoscope only comes to life when you combine it with knowledge of work, money, power, identity, relationships, sexuality, psychology, parenting, therapy, development, common sense, and the occasional touch of intuition.
I always strive for a deepening, insightful conversation—sometimes with humor, sometimes with seriousness, but always clear and concise. A consultation that's truly valuable.
